Covers and Titles

Don't judge a book by its cover and I'll add a movie by its title😜

Sometimes when we buy books or someone gives us a book to read, it could be a new movie that we haven't heard of- the first thing we look at is the book cover and if it's a movie; the title. Your next question or thought might be "would it be interesting?". If you're more curious and you actually read the book or watch the movie, you find out that it's interesting and the book cover or movie title didn't do any justice to the content.

It's like that with people too.

Have you ever seen someone and somewhere in your mind, you just conclude that you can't be friends with the person? There are some people that from a long distance we would never think of been close friends with them, then something happens and boom!!! you find out the person has an amazing personality and some people become really good friends, some enter into relationships and even get married.

Prejudice is something that comes naturally to a lot of people. We haven't had an experience with them, yet we have formed an opinion about them. There are some opportunities people have missed or great relationships that never happened because we based our decisions on sight.

My point is, sometimes the cover to some people might not be so attractive and appealing but if we set aside our prejudice and meet new people with open hearts, then we will discover the treasure that their cover didn't capture.
