WHAT TIME IS...

"Give it time”.

I can’t count the number of times I’ve been told this word. Time will tell they say. I've found out it’s true now. Time reveals a lot of things. God has time and season in His hands.

There are times I’ve wished something happened at a particular moment or to receive a news at a particular time. There are times some things would happen and I would be asking why it’s happening at the time. I even question why the time seems slow or fast on some days.

The thing is that there is something to learn per time. One thing I've learned and I'm still learning is patience. During such period of waiting(which could be frustrating sometimes), I usually find out that those things I wanted at my own time, I’m usually not quite ready for them. Some other time; it might be the joy I derive when it eventually happens or the fulfillment. I believe it’s always better than what I would've felt if I got it at my own time. That might not be the same with you but I believe there are some things that happen that we don’t understand yet God sees and knows them; because he has a better understanding of everything, He gives us the right things in the right situations at the right time.

The same goes with everyone’s life’s journey. There are different times we were born and we won’t die at the same time. Even if we were born at the same time with others, the time that an individual has to fulfill ones’ purpose at different stages in life is also different. That’s why we shouldn’t compare our lives with that of another or be in form of competition. There's no need for that.

What we should be mindful of instead is how we use our time. What do we do that makes the difference in our everyday life? It’s in our life time that we are able to make an impact on lives and fulfill purpose and if we run out of our time on earth; it can’t be recovered.

In summary, make every time of your life count. Live intentionally and have it at the back of your mind that you have a purpose on earth and time waits for no man. Also, whatever it is that you are going through and you don't seem to understand; Give it time.
