Duty Call

I heard a story of a 14-year old girl that was sexually assaulted by a 'Pastor'. The girl came to his church and  said her mother sent her away from the house and he didn't carry out any investigation but he took her to a one room apartment where he raped her for a few days till he was caught by the police. The girl was returned to her parents and it was later discovered she was pregnant. The worst thing was,they didn't know who was responsible for the pregnancy as the young girl was known for being promiscuous.
This story is just a reminder of how bad our society has become.

How can a 14- year old girl be known for being promiscuous? I learnt she was a difficult child,she couldn't be controlled and she ran away from home.
Sexual predators are everywhere and children are not safe.

I see this as a wake up call for me and every person who wants the society to be better to rise up to creating solutions and taking actions in raising children with good morals,to be Godly and to be taught sexual education, survival skills (I mean things to do in difficult situations) among others and while the children are being equipped with knowledge, let us be vigilant and watchful of our environments and to be our brothers keeper.

 Remember,love your neighbor as yourself.
